The Capuchin Friary in Bambui witnessed a joyous occasion as eight brothers made their perpetual profession in August 08, 2024. The Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Brother Angelo Borghino, Provincial Minister of the Capuchin Province of Lombardi, marked a significant milestone in the lives of Friars Keflet Aseni, Gideon Nyuyshiyi, Melchisedeck Nyuykonge, Dimitri Joel Mbombo, Herbert Burinyuy, Mbimenyuy Bonglii, Achillis Ntumnyuy, and Emmanuel Fang.
In his inspiring homily, Brother Angelo emphasized God’s unique love and calling for each of the Friars. “God has chosen you, formed you from the womb, giving you life, faith in baptism, and this particular form of consecrated life according to the charism of Francis of Assisi.”
The Custos, Brother Kenneth Kinyuy, exhorted the newly professed brothers to “pray without ceasing” as they embark on their lifelong commitment.
The ceremony brought together Capuchin brothers from across Cameroon, as well as a group of Italian youths visiting the country. Families and friends of the professed brothers also joined in the joyous and beautiful celebration.
