ENNEAGRAM A GIANT STEP TO SELF KNOWLEDGE.
From the 11th and 12th of December 2024, in Kikiakelaki, a hamlet of Kumbo, in the convent of the sisters of Saint Michael the Arch Angel’s community, the novices and postulants participated in a seesion on Enneagram directed by Br. Aloysius Kongnyuy (OFM. Cap.) At the session were 15 postulants of the capuchins, 02 postulants of the sisters of St Dominic, 05 postulants of the sisters of St. Michael and 07 novices of the Capuchins, a total of 28 formees.
We were taught that “Enneagram” from the two Greek words ‘Ennea’ for nine and ‘Grammos’ for figure, indicated nine different personality types which are: Perfectionist, Giver, Achiever, Individualist, Investigator, Skeptic, Enthusiast, Challenger, and Peacemaker. This session helped us understand ourselves better so as to ease our living together, accommodating all and appreciating our persons as a sign of true gospel witnessing, manifested in fraternal living.
