Another blessing for the Custody of Saint Francis of Assisi in Cameroon

Br. Kilian Ngitir, a friar from the Custody of Saint Francis of Assisi in Cameroon is appointed Rector of the International Collegio San Lorenzo
In the first General Council of the new six years, brother Kilian Ngitir was appointed Rector of the International Collegio San Lorenzo from Brindisi dei Frati Minori Cappuccini. Fra Kilian, who will take charge on January 1, 2025, was born in Shisong, Cameroon, on April 13, 1967. Entered the Order in 1991 in the Custody of Saint Francis of Assisi in Cameroon. He was ordained a priest in 1998. He studied philosophy and theology in Cameroon and obtained a bachelor in pedagogy and a doctorate in psycho education in Rome. In his experience, he was a master of applicants, first counselor of the Custody of Cameroon, trainer and guardian.
In the General Chapter of 2018, he was elected General Counselor of the Order for the period 2018-2024, Counselor for the Formation of the Order, General Counselor for the Conference Capuccinorum Africae Occidentalis (CONCAO), Delegate of the Minister General for Order Houses, including our Fraternity of the International College San Lorenzo di Brindisi and for Scholarships, for the Commission of the General Cappuccini Archive and for the Commission of Cappuccini Central Library, for the Historical Cappuccini Institute, for the Cappuccini Museum, and for the General Secretary for Education.
Since 2016, he is professor at Antonianum and since 2017 until today, he is the Spiritual Father of the College.
After the intense commitment as General Counselor, in the numerous visits requested by the Minister General for the various Circumstances of the Order, he now assumes the service of Rector of our International College San Lorenzo da Brindisi. We all welcome him with joy and wish him all the best for this important mission in the service of our Order.
